Winter Foot Skills 2025
Foot skills are the fundamental building blocks to soccer. Being able to have ball control, dribble, pass and shoot are important skills that all players must master in order to advance in skill. All players need to develop these skills so they are not looking at their feet, don't dribble the ball out in front and lose control and develop proper touch. Only after these skills become second nature, they then can begin to develop their Soccer IQ: game strategy, understanding positioning, understanding plays, being able to anticipate where their teammates will be, and really begin to grasp what their role in a position means. Seymour Soccer is able to bring professional coaches in to lead clinic to help our players enhance these skills.
Winter Foot Skills is located at the Rush Training Center at 32 Progress Ave in Seymour (Former Andies Bounce Barn)
All participants will need sneakers or indoor soccer shoes and a water bottle. A ball to use during the sessions will be provided. Please make sure participants switch their shoes once they arrive, in order to keep the ground clean and not have any harsh winter ground chemicals and dirt transfer onto the indoor field.
